The cloaked form of Skuld is traditionally shown with her
face partly hidden. Her left hand clasps the cloaks hood to
half cover her pained expression. within the folds of the hood
there can be seen the form of a skull.
Skuld was one of the three Norn sisters whose mission in
life was to impart wisdom to the gods. This Goddess is therfore
identified with enlightenment, Which is one of the divinatory
meaning of this rune.
